Chef Biography

Tenya Savoia
Executive Chef Tenya Savoia graduated from the Culinary Institute of America in 1999 and has a great deal of restaurant and cooking experience. This experience includes time at the 55 Restaurant Group in Columbus, Ohio, La Folie in New York and San Francisco and several different country clubs.

Tenya also spent a full six years at Braddock’s in Grandview, Ohio where she started as a line cook and ended her tenure in a management position. She has also worked on the catering side of things.
According to Tenya, cooking was a very big part of her childhood. She credits her grandmother with being her biggest and best cooking influence.

Both tortillas & avocados are two items that can always be found in Tenya’s refrigerator and cupboards. She also says that salt is her favorite spice and it’s something that she certainly cannot do without. The dish that her family and friends request from her the most is her famous pie.

When Tenya gets a chance to do something outside of the kitchen, she says that her favorite pastime is, by far, playing with her son.
